Just a Little Stitching

After my blog post for the Christmas Caroling Row Along went live, I gave a little sigh of relief. I thank all of you who visited my blog (and the other designers' blogs) for this fun event. Marian really does great row alongs and blog hops.
The pattern for my row, Deck the Halls, will be free through October 10 when the show and tell is posted. If you haven't seen my blog post HERE IT IS.

I had time to get back to some projects that I put on hold.
One project I finished is for the upcoming ENTER IF YOU DARE Blog Hop
I can't show it to you.
I can tell you I used scraps, it is orange and black, and it was fun to do!
So, do stop by between October 18 and October 30, 2017, to see what everyone has to share.

As to the other items I have worked on,
I have some hotpads completed.

I worked on more of my project for the QuiltCon 2017 Michael Miller Fabric Challenge. Again, another project I cannot show except for the fabrics (fat 1/8ths) that are to be used.

And lastly, I tidied my sewing area and got some things together that I'm taking to a quilting retreat in October. I found a fall leaf print fabric that's been hiding for a while.
I chose Rising Star on the cover of Mod Block magazine
(Vol. 2 Issue 1 by Missouri Star Quilt Co.)
to make with this fabric. It was designed by Ron Doan.
The leaf print is the background and 2.5 inch strips of autumn fabrics for the stars.
The magazine is not listed on the Missouri Star Quilt Co. website,
so I assume it is no longer available.

Thank you for visiting.
What have you been quilting lately?
